Landmark Grill
There’s nothing quite like a fresh, homemade meal, and no one makes it better than Landmark Grill. Whether you’re looking for a delicious, hot breakfast or you’re hungry at lunchtime, come over to Landmark Grill—your stomach will be glad you did.
“We have good home-cooking, seven days a week,” says owner Sam Petrogeorge. “Everything is made from scratch.”
Located at 760 East Ft. Union Blvd. in Midvale, Landmark Grill has only been open since July. But already, Sam is starting to get a lot of attention with his wide selection of scrumptious selections.
“We’re getting a lot of good feedback,” he says. “We’re getting quite a few regulars. We’re trying to find ways to see what people like.”
Landmark Grill is open seven days a week for breakfast and lunch only; the hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays. Sam says some of the most popular breakfast items are the restaurant’s omelets.
“They’re real good and big,” he says.
You can chose from six omelets, ranging in price from $5.99 to $7.99. Another tempting item is the empire stacker, which are hash browns smothered with cheese and stacked with ham, bacon or sausage, and topped with two eggs of any style. Also included with this mouth-watering meal is your choice of toast, an English muffin or a pancake. Generous choices of eggs, pancakes and French toast are also available.
As for lunch, you won’t find a place with more variety than Landmark Grill. For $7.29 or less, you can select from hamburgers, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, and melts. Landmark Grill also specializes in Greek food, including gyros. Also, look for Landmark Grill’s daily lunch specials.
“We try to throw in different things,” Sam says.
And of course, who can resist a decadent dessert? Landmark Grill has unbeatable homemade desserts as well, including the baklava pie, along with fresh cookies and brownies that Sam’s wife makes from scratch.
Landmark Grill is perfect for families, too. Kids under 12 can choose from eight kids’ meals, each just $4.49. Pancakes and eggs are great breakfast choices for your children; cheeseburgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, corn dogs and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches satisfy any child.
Not only is the food great, but when you spend breakfast or lunch at Landmark Grill, you’re sure to find a satisfying ambiance. You’ll get your money’s worth, too.
“It’s a friendly atmosphere,” Sam says. “It’s small, clean, and you get good portions. It’s a great value.”
Landmark Grill seats 50, but if you’re looking to have the restaurant’s wonderful food at your next party or holiday event, catering is available.
“We can pretty much do any menu for catering—lasagna, prime rib, Greek,” Sam says.
